Who I am. BURGHER CONSULTING LTD, company number 07298026, a coaching practice based in the UK. For anything about your data, use the contact form and mark it Not sure yet — it reaches me directly.

What I collect. If you fill in the form: your name, your email, which option you picked, and whatever you share in the message box. If we work together: session notes, and anything you choose to bring. Squarespace also collects standard analytics about visits to this site — you control that through Cookie Preferences.

Why. To reply to you, to work out together whether we’re a fit, and to do the coaching if we go ahead.

Who sees it. Me. Enquiries arrive through Squarespace and sit in my email. Session notes are mine alone. I don’t sell or share anything. Where coaching is arranged through an organisation, what gets reported back is agreed with you in advance — and it is never the content of what you say.

How long. Enquiries that don’t become work: deleted within twelve months. Client records: kept for six years, as my professional body and insurer require, then deleted.

Your rights. You can ask what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email me and I’ll do it within a month. If you’re unhappy with how I’ve handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Confidentiality. Coaching is confidential. The exceptions are the ones my professional body requires: where there’s a risk of serious harm, or where the law compels disclosure. I’d tell you first wherever I could.
